Protection against phone fraud — how to avoid the risks
Never share PIN codes, and reject Smart-ID requests you did not start. If a caller claims to represent an organisation, contact it using the number on its official website.
Frequently asked questions
Enter the number in the search box and you'll immediately see what's known about it: the originally allocated operator, region, number type (such as mobile, landline, IoT/M2M or a service number), a community safety rating and reviews from other users. This is a reputation and safety check — we do not reveal the owner's name or personal data, but we help you decide whether the call is safe to answer.
Yes, completely free. Searching numbers, viewing the safety rating and reading user reviews cost nothing and require no account or registration. Leaving your own review is free too.
Yes. The number's owner is never notified that their number was searched, and we do not build profiles of people. Searches and reviews are anonymous — to prevent abuse we store only a hashed value of the IP address, never the address itself.
Operator, region and line type come from official Latvian numbering data (VAS “Elektroniskie sakari”). The safety reputation is built by users. Ordinary reviews publish immediately; only text that may contain personal data is held for an additional check. The rating is community opinion, not a guarantee — always judge the situation critically.
Latvia's standard eight-digit ranges include 2 (mobile), 6 (fixed), 70/71 (IoT/M2M), 78 (other paid services), 80 (freephone), 81 (shared cost) and 90 (premium rate). A prefix alone cannot verify the caller or make a call safe because caller ID can be spoofed. Reject any Smart-ID request you did not initiate and never disclose PIN codes.
