Phone scams have been on the rise recently, and many people fall victim to fraudsters. They use a range of tactics, such as impersonating the police or a bank, fake technical support or misleading offers.
- Do not answer unknown numbers if you are not expecting a call.
- A bank or the police will never ask for banking details, Smart-ID codes or passwords over the phone.
